Genital Skin Disease

Very many common skin disorders can affect the skin of the genitals

Very many common skin disorders can affect the skin of the genitals and in the genital area the problem can look totally different to how it appears at other body sites.

Examples of these conditions include eczema and psoriasis, both of which can look like a non-specific red sore eruption in the genital skin.

Common viral infections can affect the genitals for example herpes simplex and viral skin warts. Lichen Planus can affect the genitals and of course sexually transmitted diseases can sometimes have manifestations on the skin as well but more commonly have internal manifestations which are invisible and hidden.

Genital skin disease should be diagnosed as quickly as possible and right now might be the time to consider a private online consultation.
